Schools across the country rely upon coaching for improving teacher practice and learner outcomes. However, the job of the coach is often quite large and ill-defined, creating great variation in coaching practice. In this webinar, you’ll learn the practices of effective coaching so that your coaching can ensure that your every-day work leads to improvements in teacher practice. You’ll also receive tools and resources on coaching that can be used by teachers, coaches, and administrators to ensure coaching achieves its intended goals.

Jennifer Pierce, Ph.D., is a Senior Technical Assistance Consultant and Researcher at American Institutes for Research. Dr. Pierce currently works with states, districts, and schools on the effective implementation of evidence-based practices to improve learning outcomes for all students, particularly those with disabilities. Prior to joining AIR, Jennifer worked as a teacher, coach, and administrator.
