CEC’s Yes I Can! Awards honor students who have excelled despite
their disability. Awards are given in nine categories. Plus, every
student nominated receives a Certificate of Achievement. Nominations are
due Oct. 14, 2008.

Award
Recognize outstanding special educators with CEC’s Professional
Awards: Clarissa Hug National Teacher of the Year, Wallin Lifetime

CEC is proud to announce that Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin will
serve as keynote speaker at the 2009 Convention & Expo in Seattle.
Matlin is an advocate for all children, especially those with
disabilities.
