Transportation to/from Airport
CEC has secured room blocks at several area hotels, including the Marriott Philadelphia Downtown, the headquarters for the CEC 2014 Convention and & Expo. CEC makes every attempt to ensure a quality, convenient, and economic stay for convention attendees. Be sure to take advantage of these discounted hotel rates by reserving your room no later than March 6, 2014.

If you are traveling to Philadelphia with a group of 10 or more, you can receive the lowest available group fare by calling 877-874-7687 Monday-Friday (ET) between 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. When booking your flight, please consider the following:
- One contact for the group is required.
- A $25 per person deposit is due within 14 days of the reservation date; final payment and ticketing is due 45 days prior to travel. If you make your reservations within 60 days of travel, full payment is due within 48 hours.
There are many options for bus transportation to Philadelphia, particularly for residents in the Northeast region of the United States. Please be sure to check the routes carefully when planning your travel; several transfers may be necessary on some routes.
In addition to Greyhound, lower cost buses are available. Please note
- MEGABUS offers affordable service to Philadelphia from 13 cities including Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Toronto.
- BOLT BUS departs from Boston, New York City, and Newark.

Driving & Parking
Philadelphia is within a day’s drive for 40% of the U.S. population. The I-95, I-76, and the Pennsylvania and New Jersey turnpikes provide commuters access from all points on the compass!

Transportation to/from the Airport

SEPTA Airport Regional Rail Line runs every 30 minutes between 5:09 AM and 12:09 AM and stops at Terminals E, C/D, B, and A-East before continuing to Eastwick, University City, 30th Street Station, Suburban Station and Market East. Airport Line service from Center City (Suburban Station) to the Airport operates between 4:25 AM and 11:30 PM. Travel time between the Airport and Center City is approximately 25 minutes. The one-way fare is $8.00 ($3.00 additional for connections to other SEPTA Regional Rail Lines at 30th Street, Suburban Station and Market East). All stations between the Airport and Market East are accessible.
Amtrak and New Jersey Transit connections can be made at 30th Street Station. Connections to the Market Frankford Line can be made at 30th Street, Suburban and Market East Stations. Connections to the Broad Street Line can be made at Suburban Station.
Shared-Ride Shuttle Service
Lady Liberty is the preferred shared-ride shuttle service between PHL and the downtown hotels. The rate is $10 each way; $5 for children 10 and under. Wheelchair/scooter accessible lift vans are available. Please call 72 hours in advance for an accessible reservation. Make all reservations by calling 215-724-8888.
Upon arrival at the airport, stop at the Ground Transportation Counter in the baggage claim area for service. Check in with the counter attendant. You will then dial 27 on the courtesy phone to give the driver your destination and number of people in your party. Your shuttle will arrive at the curb in approximately 10 minutes. To return to the airport, call 215-724-8888 to make a reservation. It is recommended that you allow 2-2.5 hours from time of pick-up at your hotel for domestic flights and 3-3.5 hours for international flights.
SEPTA’s Customized Community Transport (CCT Connect)
Passengers with disabilities who are registered anywhere in the United States can make a reservation for airport pickup by calling CCT Connector at 215-580-7700; (TDD/TTY 215-580-7712), or log onto www.septa.org. SEPTA passengers with a reservation are picked up at Zone #1 outside of Baggage Claim at Terminals A-East, B, C, D and E; Terminal F passengers can access CCT vehicles at Terminal E).
