International Attendees & Exhibitors
The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) represents members in the United States, Canada, and more than fifty other countries who serve children with disabilities and those with gifts and talents. The CEC Annual Convention & Expo is the preeminent special education meeting in North America; an opportunity to learn about the latest research, emerging knowledge, products and services, and the place to meet and network with fellow educators from around the world. CEC extends a special welcome to international attendees and exhibitors and encourages delegates to have a rich and rewarding Convention & Expo experience.
The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables nationals of 37 participating countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business (visitor [B] visa purposes only) for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa.* Travelers from VWP countries must meet eligibility requirements to travel without a visa, as authorized through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
