CEC/CEC-PD Mentoring Program
The CEC/CEC-PD Mentoring Program pairs CEC Student members with mentors who are seasoned professionals in Special Education. The program is designed to provide support and technical assistance during students’ pre-service training (Junior and Senior years), student teaching experiences, graduate studies, and during the time of transition from student to early-career status.

Students interested in working with a mentor are invited to join the Mentoring Program now. All participants must be current CEC members. Remember, Students receive a 20% discount on all CEC membership options! Join CEC or renew your membership now.
**Student applications must be completed no later than 12pm (EDT) on Thursday, October 1, 2015. You will be notified of your application status within 2-3 weeks of submission.
Chapter applications for the 2015-2016 CEC/CEC-PD Mentoring Program are now closed. If you missed the application period and are still interested in participating this year, please contact Judy Harrison at firstname.lastname@example.org. Chapters selected to participate will be assigned slots for approx. 5-10 student members to be mentored. Only active CEC Student Chapters, officially recognized by their CEC State/Provincial Unit, are eligible to apply. The Chapter’s Faculty Advisor must be a current CEC Member.
Mentor applications for the 2015-2016 CEC/CEC-PD Mentoring Program are now closed. All CEC Members (who are not students, and have at least five years of professional experience as special/gifted educators) are eligible to join the Mentoring Program as mentors.
