CEC/CEC-PD Mentoring Program

Finally, new and experienced educators can mentor and learn from one another―without evaluations or demerits!

The CEC Mentoring Program

pairs CEC members who are new teachers or teacher candidates with CEC members who are seasoned professionals in special education to form a non-evaluating mentoring partnership.

Here's how the program works:

Who & What: If you're a new teacher or teacher candidate with fewer than three years of professional experience—and an active CEC member—you will be paired with a mentor.

Complete this survey to register as a mentee. Remember—teacher candidates receive a 20 percent student discount on all CEC membership options. Join CEC or renew your membership today!

If you want to be a mentor:
Who & What: CEC members who are teachers, school or district administrators, higher education faculty, or retirees with at least three years of professional experience.
