Pricing and Discounting
Member discounts: Orders must include valid, current CEC
Member ID number to qualify for member discounts. Quantity
discounts apply to list price only.
Quantity discounts: Discounts on quantity orders of the
same title shipped to one address are listed in this chart.
Discounts are taken off of list price and are only valid with P and R
products.

Payment Policy
General Information: Dollars only are accepted in
the form of check or money order. Please make checks payable to
Council for Exceptional Children. We also accept VISA, MasterCard,
Discover and American Express.
Purchase Orders: Institutions, bookstores, and
wholesalers may supply a purchase order instead of a credit card or
check. Purchase orders may be accepted from U.S.- or Canadian-based
institutions only. Terms are net 30 for payment. Purchase
orders only may be mailed to address listed above. Payment
must accompany all orders from outside the US and Canada.
Other Considerations
Return Policy: CEC offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee
on all products. Books may be returned for a refund or credit excluding
shipping. Audiotapes, videotapes, DVDs, and CDs may be returned
for a refund or credit excluding shipping only if package remains
unopened. If damaged, a replacement copy will be mailed at no
charge. Returns should be sent via UPS and must be accompanied by
an invoice number, order number, or a copy of the original packing
slip. Please address returns to Arlington, VA address. A
restocking fee of 25% is charged on all returns.
*Please note: Returns from bookstores, school districts,
universities, and corporate customers must be received within 60 days of
the invoice date.
Examination Copies: Books being considered for course adoption
may be sent on 60-day approval with invoice. If an order is
received for at least 10 copies of the examined book within 60 days,
credit will be given for the examination copy, when the order is
accompanied by the original invoice. If a bulk order is not
placed, the invoice should be paid or the book should be returned,
postage paid. Other media, such as CDs and videos, are not
available for free examination.
Broker Fees and Custom Fees: These charges are the
responsibility of the recipient on orders shipped to Canada and other
foreign countries.
