Get Help Preparing for Your Program's NCATE/CEC Accreditation Review

CEC Provides Expert Assistance in NCATE/CEC Accreditation Review Preparation in Three Ways:

I. Individualized Technical Assistance
A CEC representative can come to your campus and work with anyone from your faculty, spending as much time as needed to help you analyze your programs to find the best way to approach your unique situation.

$1,500.00 per day plus travel and expenses.

II. Regional Training
So you need assistance, but don't have the dollars in the budget. Have you considered asking the state TED organization to organize a regional workshop? CEC will happily provide the same type of group workshop individualized for the unique needs of your region. For scheduling and costs contact: Sabata Morris at 703-264-9466 (sabatam@cec.sped.org).

III. Group Workshops
Several times throughout the year CEC conducts one-day workshops for faculty preparing program reports in response to CEC's new performance based standards. These workshops will focus on strategies for preparing the special education program report using the templates developed by NCATE and CEC that were piloted in Fall 2004 and required as of Spring 2005. At the workshop we will:

• Review and clarify the standards
• Demonstrate frameworks for organizing folios
• Demonstrate how to complete the templates
• Demonstrate how to present supporting evidence
• Explain how reviewers analyze the folios
• Provide some individualized assistance Workshops

Workshop and materials:
$350.00 for CEC members
$500.00 for non-members
