Travel & Housing
Use the following information to book your travel to and
from Seattle, as well as your hotel accommodations.
Getting There
Airlines
Due to the numerous booking options available online, CEC does
not have a preferred airline. The most convenient airport is
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac). Visit the Port of Seattle
Web site for all airport information.
Transportation To/From Sea-Tac Airport
The Seattle Downtown Airporter is the most economical way to
travel to your hotel destination. Visit the Gray Line of Seattle Web site for detailed
information and ticket purchase. All buses are wheelchair
lift-accessible.
For cab service from the airport, follow the
“Ground Transportation” signs to the third-floor level of
the parking garage. Taxi fare to downtown is $30 to $35 and the
drive-time is approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Accessible taxis are
available on demand.
Where to Stay
CEC has secured room blocks at six area
hotels—including the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, the headquarters
hotel for the 2009 Convention & Expo. CEC makes every attempt to
ensure a quality, convenient, and economical stay for convention
attendees. Be sure to take advantage of these discounted hotel rates by
reserving your room no later than March 8, 2009. Visit
the Hotels
page for more information.
