The National Black Caucus of Special Educators
The Black Caucus of Special Educators CEC was founded in 1968 at the
46th Annual CEC Convention in Chicago, IL and formally accepted as an
organization and ethnic caucus. The Black Caucus of CEC is devoted
to:

Serving as a persistent advocated for the rights to appropriate
services for Black children;

Developing linkages with professional groups and organizations
concerned with the education of Black children;

Providing a mechanism for location and referral of employment
opportunities for Black educators, administrators, and support staff;
and
-
Providing information and support to CEC regarding the issues and
concerns of Black children and professionals in special education.
