Technology

Every year, new technology comes on the market that can enhance the learning of students with exceptionalities. The right technology can provide a student with a disability access to learning opportunities few dared to dream of just a decade ago and provide them the means for academic success.

Special educators should also be aware of technologies that can ease their lives. New software can help educators with a range of responsibilities, from writing IEPs to maintaining electronic grade books.

To help you stay abreast of the latest developments in educational and assistive technology, CEC has created this resource. It includes information on assistive technology, educational technology, technology for administration and record keeping, universal design, research, current issues on technology, and resources.
